New Dangers...averted

Finding a forge across the river, our heros continue on their quest. Seeing wonders that few have ever seen and mysteries abound. Before the dawning of one day, they are beset by the deadly Jadeback, but the are able to defeat it by the protection of our Lady Ulpir!

A single step...

Two of the loyal members of our people, it is said, were called to a secret meeting by St’p, and perhaps even an avatar of Owl in the Day and they were given a great task. They were sent out to find resources that would be of great use against the possible Kinslayer, and they set off beneath the cover of darkness…But the wilds that our Mistress protected us from raised its head less than a day from our fair fields. They were beset by Su, but through the grace of the protective Ulpir, and good fortune, they survived this deadly encounter!

Continuing their trek, they happened upon a sight that few ever see, one of the structures of the ancients that was completely destroyed by some cataclysm. The missing bridge did little to encourage our fair heroes.

Start at the begining

The Natives were restless

I am called Chon Way, a survivor of the attack by a rogue Ulpir. I was there when it happened, and I remember many tales of the time…

It was about a month after Lord Wildborn took over the fortress. Almost all found within were put to the blade, or consumed by their new master. But many fled, and hid among the blood stock within the other towns, and even in the Camp. At this time, none knew where The Mistress had gone or even if she was alive, or had fallen to the crime of Kinslaying, the worst crime known among Ulpir.

Owl in the Day was left alive, but was not allowed to see any of her tribe. Indeed, any who sought her guidance were beaten, or slain at the entry of her lodge. But, the spirits allowed her to visit her people unknown to those who guarded her. She had found Matae hidden among the Blood Stock, organizing those who he knew or could trust…
